Tenji Buffet

I got a chance to go to Tenji, a Japanese buffet once last year for the first time. My family went there to celebrate Father's Day and there was 50% discount if I have not mistaken.

The food is nice and may I say the setting is also nice? However I forgot to take picture at that moment. So sorry hahaha.

There's a lot of seafood here. Fresh fresh one. Quite many choices and variety. See the big muscles above? OMG. :)

A lot of raw stuffs, which I loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. Me hearts salmon.

And also fried stuffs - tempura. Potato, prawns and lot's more.

Cawamushi.

Also available is the chocolate fondue. You can dip biscuits, marshmallow, breadsticks or even fruits if you like. Really nice.

And what I love most..... DESSERTTTTT!

There's one whole section of cakes and Haagen Daaz ice cream available! Soooooooo many cakes and ice creams for dessert lovers :)

I'd like to go to Tenji again if I have the chance again. Nice food, nice atmosphere.
Of course you pay for what you eat, it's not cheap but it's buffet.
So you can eat all you want :)

Want to go?

Here's the address of the place :

Lot L-01-01, Soho KL, Solaris Mont Kiara,
No.2 Jalan Solaris, 50480 Kuala Lumpur

Ice Room

Heard of ice rooms? I know it's ice ROOM and not ROOMS.
Who cares, cause I like the sound of the 's'. Sounds nicerrrrr.
Try pronouncing please.

Anyway, so far I know there's ice room in lowyat and another in taman shamelin.
The ice shaves here are awesome, however very pricey.
Ranging from a minimum of RM 8 to RM10.
Worth it or not is up to you to decide.

i think this is mixed fruit. i forgottttt. xD

mango mango

i-forgot-what-is-this-but-this-is-not-strawberry.
eh, i think this is passion passion fruit, i not sure i forgot xD

durian durian

3-in-1.
We got this free from ice rooms because it was one of our friend's birthday.

So, worth or not?
I know in Ipoh, ice shaves only come at RM4 or so.
:( KL always sell things at higher rates. Sigh.

Kukup, Johor (loads of pictures, little words)

I went to Kukup in Johor last year.
If you haven't heard of Kukup, it's a fishing village (not a well known one though).
I travelled by bus and walked from the bus terminal to the jetty area.
Well honestly, it's not really a long walk, bearable with a small luggage in my hand.

Now, take the first glimpse of the fishing village.
Very simple place. Well waddya expect?

Upon arrival, we saw these "evil creatures" there.
Mudskippers anyone? They're disgusting -_-;;

And even crabbies and BIG FAT RATS.
I know, I know such a place for vacation right -_-;;

Also a place for parents-children to berbonding maybe? :)

And and and the hosts here, serve the besttttttttttt cucur udang I ever eaten.
Seriously, the best. And by a chinese! Not racist or whatsoever. But usually malays serves better cucur udang. But nothing beat the Chinese's lady one. So far. :)

And in fishing village like this, there isn't really much to do honestly, so there's mahjong sets for people who wants to play. And even microphones and tv for karaoke session! :D

What I love most would be the scenic view and the satisfaction of capturing nice nice pictures :P
A good place for photo shooting, camwhoring, play a fool and all sorts of rubbish.
More pictures below :)

Ohh, don't you love the view?
Love the tranquility here.

The host served lotsa good food for dinner. As in realllyyyyy good food! Fresh prawns, the chicken wing! Squids! Fish! Well, mostly seafood, awesome awesome food. :)

Well, sunset was nice :)

It was really weird though when night came, the neighbour was lighting up fireworks.
And I manage to take my first ever firework picture nicely without much attempts :)

This was sunrise, when I walked to the back and saw LAND. After one whole day facing the sea, it was good to see land :D

Fishes that were caught by the fishing nets.
Seen a swordfish before? This is the tiniest I've ever seen in my life.

Some slithering creature, I don't know how it got up here -.-l
Scaryyyyyy.

And so we venture out on the 2nd day to some place. I don't know what's it call xD

I spotted an eagle!!! Can't see?

Here, I zoomed it for you :)

And so we went to this place to walk around, seeing the nature.

Spiders, love the macro effect, no?

Okay, not much to say about this place because honestly it's a boring place. But if you wanna go somewhere where
1) There's peace and quiet, out from the city
2) You want to enjoy seafood
3) You can go somewhere for vacation at a reasonable, affordable price
4) You don't mind toilets which doesn't have proper "holes" to divert you 'ahemss'.
5) You don't mind the "funny" environment with lotsa other creatures around you.
Seriously, Kukup shall be your perfect choice!

Well, that's all from me.
